Insurance and Referrals

The Managed Care Department schedules your appointments for outside specialty care (unless you prefer to do so yourself) and makes sure that any necessary insurance referrals are in place prior to your appointment. Our team advocates for DotHouse Health patients on  issues with insurers and hospitals and can help patients navigate challenges within the healthcare system.

DotHouse Health accepts all major insurance plans, including all federal and state insurance programs. When scheduling an appointment or registering as a new patient, our team will work with you to make sure that we accept your insurance. Yes, if one is required by your plan. You must make sure that all referral information is completed before your appointment for specialty care. Please note that many insurance carriers do not cover costs retroactively if your referral is received after the appointment, or will do so only up to a certain time limit (generally 90 days).
