Dorchester House offers an array of public health services through our partnership with DotWell, a collaborative organization founded by Codman Square Health Center and Dorchester House to provide the highest quality comprehensive clinical and community-based services to the residents of Dorchester. Learn about healthy eating through our our hands-on nutrition programs: Cooking Classes, Healthy Eating for Diabetes at Codman Square Health Center, and Everyday Eating for Diabetics at Dorchester House Multi-Service Center. Additional resources can be found at the Food Source Hotline. Call 1-800-645-8333 to find information about SNAP (food stamps) assistance, emergency food assistance and information for school meals Monday-Friday 8am-7pm; Saturday 10am-2pm.
You can get on-site HIV counseling and testing anytime during our business hours. Our HIV Programming also provides outreach, education, counseling and testing services within the clinics and in community settings on a regular basis. You are welcome to join our HIV Support Group.
Are you a new parent? Participate in Healthy Start, Parent to Parent, and Welcome Baby. For all our Dorchester Dads, we have a fantastic support network of fathers through Dot Dads. We also serve our Dorchester Moms through the Drop-in Mom’s Group, which provides education, a support structure, and a way to connect to services. All are welcome to join our Alcoholics Anonymous Group, or participate in our HIV Support Group.
