The Behavioral Health Department at Dorchester House offers psychiatric and counseling services for adults, adolescents and children. Both individual and group counseling sessions are available.
Services offered include:

- General and behavioral health issues
- Acute and chronic mental illness
- Emergency evaluations and 24 hour call
- Medication evaluations and management — adult, adolescent, child
- Psychiatric treatment
- Psychological testing
- Substance abuse — including urine screening
- Domestic violence
- Trauma
- Case management and social services
We have group meetings for:
- Anger management
- Anxiety
- Vietnamese women
- Support for chronic and persistent mental illness
- Men’s substance abuse recovery
- Women’s substance abuse recovery
- Child therapy
