A community health center in Dorchester, Dorchester House Multi-Service Center is a “one-stop shop” for medical services. Whether you need a check-up or are looking for specialized care, our physicians and staff are here for you.

Dorchester House offers a range of Primary Care services geared toward filling the needs of all patients, from infants to seniors. After registering with a primary care physician, you will have access to our full array of health services. 

Our Women’s Health Department’s services include OB/Gyn, family planning, mammography and support for pre- and post-natal care.

You can obtain full service care in our Eye Care Department, as well as purchase eyeglasses in our optical boutique.

We offer dentistry, oral health specialties and oral hygiene education in our Dental Services clinic.

If you need counseling services, you can visit our Behavioral Health Department.

New England Physical Therapy PLUS provides a full range of physical therapy services on-site.

You can fill your prescriptions in our clinic Pharmacy.

If your healthcare provider requires diagnostic services, we have Radiology and Mammography, as well as a full-service Laboratory.

We Speak Your Language

Many of our providers and staff are bilingual, speaking Vietnamese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese and other languages. We also have Vietnamese and Spanish translators available at all times; these translators are specially trained to serve as interpreters during medical visits.

Health Insurance

Dorchester House accepts most forms of health insurance and all major HMOs. We accept Medicare and MassHealth (Medicaid) and have enrollment specialists on staff who can help you access Massachusetts’ variety of health insurance options. 

We offer a sliding fee scale for self-payments. No one is turned away because of a lack of insurance or an inability to pay.
