Biography: Dr. Crosson has been a primary care physician at DotHouse Health since 1998 and also serves as an Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine. She has led national workshops on communication skills building – specifically focused on caring for patients of diverse backgrounds. She was appointed the Evans Educator Director of the communication skills curriculum for residents at Boston University. Dr. Crosson is very interested in cross-cultural competence issues in healthcare and has co-led a workshop on precepting in cross-cultural encounters at the Society of General Medicine Disparities Forum and led a workshop at the Harvard University “Getting to Equal” Conference on health disparities.

Biography: Dr. Anuka Das (she/her) is a Family Medicine-obstetrics physician. Originally born in Kolkata, India she found her way to Boston by way of immigrating to Texas with her family as a child. She completed her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch and did her Family Medicine residency training at Boston Medical Center and Codman Square Health Center. She then completed a fellowship in surgical obstetrics at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina. Julianna Bordy-Fialkin

Biography: Julianna is a Clinical and Public Health Social Worker. She attended Boston University for her graduate work, where she received joint degrees in Social Work and Public Health. With a background in homeless services, legal aid funding, and child welfare policy, she worked for a number of years as a Primary Care Social Worker at Boston Children's Hospital, where she also managed a school-problems clinic Psychology and Developmental Pediatric trainees. She then returned to Boston Medical Center to manage an autism research project and to provide clinical training and supervision to Community Health Workers across multiple pediatric research studies. She continues in a training capacity at BMC and with the Boston Public Health Commission. A Boston native, Julianna is active in her community and is passionate about healthcare equity and access. She is the Project Manager and one of the Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians for TEAM UP at DotHouse.

Biography:Dr. Mir is an Internist and Infectious diseases physician graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her medical degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela where she developed a passion for community health and serving the most vulnerable populations. She has a 20+ year career working as a clinician in Boston’s federally qualified health centers (FQHCs); over the years, Dr. Mir has held multiple leadership positions including being the Chief Medical Officer for DotHouse Health in Dorchester, MA and most recently the Chief Medical Officer of Community Care Cooperative (C3), a Massachusetts Medicaid Accountable Care Organization where she led FQHCs thru their journey towards value based models of care. Susana Tejada

Prior to joining DotHouse, she worked at The Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury for 10 years. She joined the DotHouse Dental team in 2022 and is grateful for the opportunity to provide dental care to patients of the DotHouse community. She provides comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, and particularly enjoy working with our pediatric patients. She currently live in the North Shore and enjoys spending quality time with my husband and daughter.

Biography:Tara Bylsma, MD, MPH is an Infectious Disease physician who recently completed her ID Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center (2023) with a focus in HIV care. Previously, she completed a Masters of Public Health at Boston University (2014), Medical School at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago (2018) and Internal Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center (2021). She looks forward to her next adventure in clinical practice at DotHouse Health Center in Boston, MA. Outside of medicine, Tara enjoys cooking, hiking and podcasts. A lifelong bookworm, Tara shares her home with her husband and daughter, a cat, a dog, a small army of succulents, and her growing library.

Biography: Hailing from the great plains of Lincoebraska, Dr. Qu has enthusiasticaily set new roots in the greater Boston area to become part of the awesome team here at-Dot House Health. He completed his undergraduate years at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a degree in molecular and cellular biology. He then made the move to the east coast where he attended Boston University where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. At Boston University, Dr. Qu received his foundational training in digital dentistry, learning how to incorporate CAD/CAM technology into his everyday practice. It is_also where he fell in love with the city of Boston. Most recently, Dr. Qu completed his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in a General Practice Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he learned to manage complicated treatment plans as well as special needs dentistry. Dr. Qu is a member of the ADA, MOS, AAID, and AGO. In his free time, Dr. Qu likes to travel the world, watch a good movie, and spend time with his wife, Sarah and new baby Jordan.

Yuna Kim, MD

Biography:Dr. Kim is an internist and a geriatrician. She completed her medical degree at Kangwon National University, South Korea, and her internships at Catholic University Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital and Yonsei University Severance Hospital, South Korea. Her residency was at Internal Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (NYC Health and Hospital/Queens Program). She joined DothouseHealth after completing her geriatrics fellowship at NYU. She began a cognitive assessment clinic in 2020 to assess cognitive and functional frailty. Her interests include memory loss/dementia, diabetes care, and bone health in a geriatric population.
