The Dorchester FAMILY School Initiative (DFSI) helps to provide health, social support and enrichment services for children attending their partner schools: Lucy Stone School, Joseph Lee School, and Emily A. Fifield School.
Dorchester Youth Collaborative
The mission at Dorchester Youth Collaborative is to engage these teens in relationships and projects that promote the health and safety of the community and the psycho-social development of the youth.
DotWell
DotWell’s mission is to work in collaboration with its partners - Codman Square Health Center and Dorchester House Multi-Service Center - to provide integrated clinical and community services that address health disparities, build social capital, and meet the complex needs of our communities.
Family Nurturing Center
The Center works to help expecting parents build a community together to help children with the support of a caring neighborhood. We work in collaboration with the Family Nurturing Center to provide many programs such as Dot Dads.
Fields Corner Main Street
Fields Corner Main Street (FCMS) is one of 19 Main Streets programs in the City of Boston working to make the area around the Dorchester House stronger and livelier.
The Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless
The MCH provides an on-site Housing Advocate at DHMSC to assist patients with housing, fuel assistance, and financial supports. This is done through the Coalition’s First Stop program that works specifically with community health centers.
The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers
The League is a statewide association representing the state’s 52 community health centers. It serves as an information source on community-based health care to policymakers, opinion leaders and the media and provides a wide range of technical assistance.
The Medical-Legal Partnership | Boston
The MLP Boston allies health care providers with lawyers to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable populations. Combining the strengths of law and medicine, MLP Boston ensures that patients’ basic needs for housing, food, education, health care, and family stability are met.

Ropes & Gray are DHMSC’s partner law firm in the Medical-Legal Partnership. They provide an attorney on site and our clinical staff can schedule meetings for onsite consultation on medical and social legal issues.
Safe City Initiative
The Safe City Initiative is a formal collaboration between The Dorchester Youth Collaborative, Catholic Charities, Dorchester House Multi-Service Center, and Codman Square Health Center. The initiative’s purpose is to provide safe haven and positive youth development to reduce the fear of violence and increase the hope for success of Boston’s most desperate teens.
SCI Dorchester
SCI Dorchester is a partnership between Social Capital Inc. and DotWell with the goal of strengthening our community by connecting individuals and organizations through civic engagement initiatives such as volunteering.
